About The Position

The MRI Technologist II performs MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures. This role involves preparing patients for the exam by obtaining and recording history, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort. The technologist also reviews MRI images to ensure optimum quality and assists with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups, providing resource information as directed. Requirements

  • Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • CPR required
  • ARRT- MR or ARMRIT
  • Previous MRI Technologist experience required

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
