About The Position

Coordinates and/or performs MRI exams. Performs procedures using MRI equipment and coordinates patient care for MRI services under the supervision of a physician. The technician checks patient histories and clinical indications, consults with the Radiologist when necessary, assists patients on and off the table as needed, and explains the process to help patients relax. The role also involves communicating with providers and support staff to facilitate departmental operations and maintaining and enforcing safety measures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OSHA regulations.
• Consistently arrive at work in professional attire and on time, and complete tasks within established time frames.
• Seek appropriate tasks when primary tasks are complete and assist co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrate adaptability to expanded roles.
• BLS/CPR certification; Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• Must be a registered MRI technologist or registry eligible.
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
