About The Position

Coordinates and/or performs MRI exams according to prescribed protocols and exam durations. Performs procedures using MRI equipment and coordinates patient care for MRI services under physician supervision. Reviews patient histories and clinical indications, consults with the Radiologist when necessary, assists patients onto and off the table as needed, and explains the process to help patients relax. Uses appropriate safety procedures and communicates with providers and support staff to facilitate departmental operations. Maintains knowledge of and enforces safety measures, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OSHA regulations.
• Arrive on time in professional attire and complete tasks within established time frames.
• Seek appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assist co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrate adaptability to expanded roles.
• BLS/CPR certified; Basic Cardiac Life Support is listed as an education and certification requirement.
• Must be a registered MRI technologist or registry eligible.
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
