About The Position

The MRI Technologist works with Medical Imaging leadership and the department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures. The role performs diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines and serves as a role model and resource within the department. The position is per diem with variable shifts.

Requirements

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program, or successful completion of a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.
• Facilitate direct mailing of an official transcript verifying successful completion of all courses necessary to satisfy ARRT Structured Education requirements for post-primary MRI pathway certification. This requirement is waived for candidates who already hold the ARRT(MR) advanced registry.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire.
• Renew Washington State RT licensure biannually as required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence verified by primary source.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
