MRI Technician
About The Position
United Medical Imaging is a large imaging group with 30 locations in Southern California that provides diagnostic care to the community. The centers are equipped to treat diagnostic, traumatic, and life-threatening injuries, with a healthcare team focused on improving patients’ health and quality of life. The MRI Technician operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and performs daily MRI imaging services. Multiple full-time and part-time positions are available across Los Angeles County and Orange County. Candidates open to second-shift hours, extended hours, and weekends are preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly rate based on education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for a competitive benefits program.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school.
- ARRT certification with specific MRI certification.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced MRI facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide superior patient care, including attention to patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, and peers.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual candidates preferred; Spanish is preferred.
- Availability for second-shift hours, extended hours, and weekends is preferred.
