About The Position
The Multi-Modality MRI Technologist performs routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging, CT imaging, and diagnostic/fluoroscopic X-ray examinations. The position may also involve venipuncture when indicated and assisting the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases. The technologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Current ARRT certification in CT, MR, and R; alternatively, ARRT certification in MR and R, with the requirement to obtain an ARRT CT license within one year of completing orientation.
- Texas Department of State Health certification.
- One year of work experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging.
- Perform CT imaging and diagnostic/fluoroscopic X-ray examinations.
- Perform venipuncture when indicated.
- Assist the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.
