About The Position

The Multi-Modality MRI Technologist performs routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging, CT imaging, and diagnostic/fluoroscopic x-ray exams. The role includes performing venipuncture when indicated and assisting the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases. The technologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services, including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

The position is at Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving communities in northeastern Tarrant County, North Texas. The medical center provides emergency care, advanced surgery, and imaging services, among other offerings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT certification in CT, MR, and R; alternatively, ARRT certification in MR and R, with the requirement to obtain the ARRT CT license within one year of completing orientation.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• One year of work experience required.
