About The Position

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Tech performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. The role requires independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation to obtain a radiologic diagnosis. The position is PRN with a varied schedule.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training at an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• State license through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care experience is preferred; new graduates will be considered.
• Preferably registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures.
• Follow the principles and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
