About The Position

The MRF Laborer ensures materials on the conveyor are properly sorted, removed, and placed in their corresponding containers. The employee works in dusty and noisy indoor and outdoor conditions, may be exposed to extreme weather, and must be able to stand for long periods and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sort materials according to size, type, and condition.
• Keep the work area and surrounding areas clean.
• Immediately report unsafe work conditions or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings.
• Wear required personal protective equipment at all times.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
