About The Position

The MRF Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at the facility. The role involves inspecting and monitoring equipment, following safety procedures, maintaining a clean machine and cab, monitoring incoming materials, and maximizing truck load weights in accordance with DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections according to company standards, ensuring fluid levels are appropriate and safety devices function properly.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance and report needed repairs to the maintenance department.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Keep the machine and cab clean.
• Monitor incoming materials and report unacceptable waste to management.
• Maximize truck load weights in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
