About The Position

The Movie Theater Employee works part time at either the Smith Rafael Film Center in downtown San Rafael or the Sequoia Cinema in downtown Mill Valley. The role is suitable for high school or college students seeking customer service experience and a student-friendly schedule. Expected hours are 5–20 per week, and pay is $17.00. Employees receive free popcorn and soda and a few free tickets to films, along with flexible hours and employee discounts. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to movie theater patrons.
• Sell tickets and concessions, including food and beverages.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining theater premises.

• Assist with event management.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and conflicts professionally.
• Assist with crowd control during busy periods or special events.
