About The Position

A Mover/Packer with Paul Davis packs out and returns customers’ personal belongings after property damage from water, fire, mold, or fallen trees. Items are moved to onsite storage pods or the company warehouse for storage and/or cleaning. The role helps customers during a difficult time by providing empathetic, timely service and contributing to a positive customer experience. The position involves lifting, moving, inventorying, and documenting property, as well as maintaining trucks and organizing warehouse storage.

Nice To Haves

IICRC training or certifications, including Fire, Water, Odor, or Upholstery Restoration.
Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Pack out and pack back customers’ personal belongings as scheduled and directed by the Contents Coordinator and Contents Manager.
Work collaboratively with the Contents Department and company, including Cleaning Technicians restoring contents.
Create detailed inventories of packed items with photographs and written descriptions.
Communicate proactively and directly with internal staff and customers.
Move items safely to prevent injuries and damage to personal property or the job site.
Document the condition of the job site and furniture before moving begins.
Keep trucks clean, stocked, and organized.
Organize warehouse and storage vaults.
