This position supports statewide vehicle inspection operations by overseeing field activities, reviewing violation reports, and guiding program improvements. It involves coordinating audits, supporting staff, and communicating with partners throughout the Commonwealth. As a Motor Vehicle Program Supervisor 3, you will perform the following duties: Program Oversight: Manage statewide safety and emissions inspection activities, including audits of safety and emissions inspection stations and investigations of consumer complaints related to inspection activities. Violation Review: Evaluate investigation reports and determine appropriate sanctions for inspection program violations Training Guidance: Review and provide input on certification training materials and program updates. Develops and coordinates at least one Quality Assurance Officer Training Conference per year. Data Management: Support the maintenance of inspection databases and verify accuracy of certification information Procedure Development: Establish and update procedures for staff to support consistent and effective operations Board Coordination: Coordinate activities of the Inspection Advisory Board, including meetings, agendas, and communication with partners.
