Full-Time Nanny Position – Fox Chapel
About The Position
This is a full-time Mother's Helper position in Fox Chapel, PA, with a start date of ASAP but flexible for the right candidate. The role involves working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Wednesday from 2:30 PM to a time to be determined, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. The position is for a family with three children aged 6 years, 4 years, and 1 year old, and they have one hypoallergenic dog. The hourly rate is $25-27. The family is seeking a proactive, organized, energetic, and common-sense individual who views family life as a team sport and can work collaboratively with the mother, who is the primary caregiver. The role involves assisting with childcare, household tasks, and light family-assistant duties. The family emphasizes open communication, mutual respect, and a desire for a long-term commitment, ideally 3-4 years.
Requirements
- Must have a driver's license.
- Must have a vehicle.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities
- Assist the mother in managing the daily logistics of three children with varying schedules, including school drop-offs and pickups, naps, meals, and playtime.
- Engage with the 1-year-old while the mother assists older children with homework or other tasks.
- Assist with household tasks such as children's laundry, changing sheets, tidying bedrooms and the playroom, vacuuming kid spaces, bringing in groceries, chopping fruits and vegetables, and light dinner preparation.
- Let the dog outside once or twice a day and potentially take it for walks with the baby.
- Collaborate with the mother, who is actively involved in childcare and household management.
- Participate in family outings and activities such as pool days, parks, bike rides, and playdates.
- Occasionally flex earlier or later hours when the father travels, with advance notice.
- Maintain a clean and organized home environment.
