About The Position

Saint Peter's is seeking talented, compassionate Registered Nurses to join its collaborative Mother-Baby nursing team. The Mother Baby RN assesses assigned patients, follows established nursing standards and standards of care, administers medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy, and meticulously documents patient care. This is a night-shift position in the Mother-Baby 3AB unit.

Requirements

• Be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Hold a BSN or obtain one within three years of the hire date.
• Hold BLS certification as approved by the American Heart Association.
• Hold NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I.
• Obtain NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II during clinical orientation.

Nice To Haves

• BSN is preferred; alternatively, it must be obtained within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
• Use assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards.
• Perform procedures based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Document all aspects of patient care.
