About The Position
Saint Peter's is seeking a talented, compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Mother-Baby 3AB team. The hospital has earned its seventh consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction designation, recognizing exceptional nursing practices and patient outcomes. The Mother Baby RN contributes to a collaborative nursing team and provides patient care in accordance with nursing standards and established standards of care. The listed salary range is $45.00–$60.00 USD. Base rates are determined by factors including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association is required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part I is required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification Part II must be obtained during clinical orientation.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred; alternatively, a BSN must be obtained within three years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to the collaborative nursing team.
- Use assessment skills to determine assigned patients’ health status in accordance with Nursing Standards.
- Ensure procedures are performed according to established Standards of Care.
- Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
- Document all aspects of patient care meticulously.
