About The Position
The Water Resource District Board manages the various water resources and drainage areas within the district, including navigable streams and waterways, and provides oversight of the Missouri West Water System. The board meets once per month. Any qualified elector of the Morton County Water District is eligible for appointment. Three appointments are available, each for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2029. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2026.

- Must be a qualified elector of the Morton County Water District.
Responsibilities
- Manage water resources and drainage areas within the district, including navigable streams and waterways.
- Provide oversight of the Missouri West Water System.
- Attend monthly board meetings.
