About The Position
The Morton County Road Commission Board supports the Highway Department through mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Day-to-day operations are led by the County Engineer and County Highway Superintendent. The Road Commission does not oversee or govern day-to-day operations unless its involvement is appropriate and necessary. The Commission meets once per month. Any qualified elector of Morton County is eligible for appointment. This is a four-year term expiring December 31, 2030. The application deadline is December 15, 2026. - Must be a qualified elector of Morton County.
Responsibilities
