Mortgage Servicing Processor - Full Time
About The Position
1st MidAmerica is seeking a member-focused Mortgage Servicer to manage day-to-day mortgage loan servicing. The work includes payment posting, escrow account processing and analysis, and responding to members’ concerns about their home loans. The role is based in Bethalto, Illinois, and requires the ability to work and travel to different credit union locations as determined by management. The position is full time, with a 40-hour work week scheduled within the listed hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, no more than once per month. The stated pay is $17.80 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work and travel to different credit union locations as determined by management.
Nice To Haves
- Prior mortgage experience is preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Post payments, import new loans, and perform account maintenance.
- Maintain escrow accounts.
- Provide excellent member service and resolve inquiries.
- Balance and reconcile accounts.
