As a Mortgage Product Placement Specialist, you’ll act as the bridge between our loan originators and lending partners; analyzing scenarios, matching borrowers to the right lenders, and keeping deals moving smoothly from submission to approval. Requirements

  • 4+ years Sales experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Conventional, VA, FHA, Non-QM, HELOC, and HELOAN products, including eligibility guidelines, underwriting standards, and pricing structures.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex borrower profiles, identifying potential challenges, and delivering strategic solutions to maximize loan approval and profitability.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mortgage pricing engines, AUS systems (DU/LP), and lender overlays is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review borrower applications, financials, and loan scenarios for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match and distribute loan files to appropriate lenders based on guidelines and product fit.
  • Analyze lender criteria, risk appetite, and market conditions to optimize deal placement.
  • Work closely with loan officers to provide guidance, present viable product options, and help structure loans in a way that improves pull-through and conversion.
  • Communicate with internal teams and lending partners to clarify scenarios and move deals forward.
  • Track loan submissions, statuses, and approvals to ensure timely progress.
  • Maintain strong relationships with lender partners to improve placement outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact approvals or funding timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external lending regulations.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Attend training and department meetings.
  • Follow all policies and procedures for the department and Company, including personnel policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned.
