About The Position

Responsible for delivering closed salable loans to investors and providing follow up documentation to ensure loan purchase. This role requires strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including a professional demeanor, and clear, concise written and oral communication abilities. The individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
• Ability to learn various banking and mortgage lending software systems.
• Ability to accurately follow instructions on a variety of subjects.
• Able to multi-task and effectively function under stressful conditions.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to perform detailed work and have good organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to handle workload pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to adjust work hours and schedule to meet workload.

Nice To Haves

• Clerical experience preferred.
• Basic accounting skills.
• Familiarity with Mortgage Loan Documents is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable about Mortgage Loan documentation and various Mortgage Loan Programs, staying updated on program changes.
• Ship closed loan packages to Investors according to individual Investor guidelines prior to expiration dates.
• Coordinate with Loan Processors and Mortgage Loan Originators to correct any Investor-required loan conditions and deficiencies prior to expiration dates.
• Request insurance such as VA FF, FHA MIP or activate PMI Certificate as needed.
• Submit insurance packages to the appropriate entity on government loans when requested.
• Follow up with other WesBanco departments and Settlement Agents for receipt of deferred or incomplete documents.
• Submit files of Sold loans and Portfolio to the Image Center.
• Collect the first payment from the customer and remit to the investor, following up with the customer regarding any issues with the first payment.
• Balance the Cash Items GL and VLIP Account.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
