About The Position
Security First Bank is seeking a detail‑oriented Mortgage Loan Servicer for an entry-level role supporting the servicing and administration of our residential mortgage portfolio. This role ensures accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service throughout the life of each loan.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- General understanding of financial services or willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of banking or loan servicing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain and verify insurance, tax, and escrow information
- Complete post‑closing tasks for new, refinanced, or modified loans
- Prepare servicing documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards
- Review escrow analyses for accuracy
- Communicate with vendors regarding taxes, insurance, and flood insurance
- Monitor closed loan portfolios for covenant and servicing compliance
- Support payment processing, modifications, NFIP monitoring, and other regulatory duties
