About The Position

Saco Valley Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join their Lending team as a Full-Time Mortgage Loan Processor. This role is crucial to the mortgage loan process, providing administrative support, ensuring loan file accuracy and completeness, and managing tax and insurance payments for members with escrow accounts. The Processor will collaborate with lending staff to gather documentation, verify information, coordinate loan requirements, and contribute to a positive member experience. This position is ideal for someone who excels at detailed administrative tasks, values accuracy, communicates effectively, and desires to be part of a team that positively impacts members and the community.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Six months to two years of similar or related experience preferred.
High level of regard for trust and confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate respectfully with all personality styles.
Ability to work collaboratively with employees, members, and other entities, developing and maintaining positive relationships.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including effectively organizing time and remaining flexible to meet competing demands requiring skill and attention.
Strong computer and general office equipment knowledge, and willingness to learn new technology.
Knowledge of mortgage products, rates, and lending regulations.
