About The Position

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to manage and process reverse mortgage loan files. The role evaluates files for regulatory compliance and completeness, enters loan information into operational systems, coordinates required documents and vendor products, and communicates file status across sales and management teams. Prior reverse mortgage experience is required. The position is 100% remote and pays $24–$30 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of reverse mortgage loan processing experience.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong customer service and time management skills.
• Motivation and determination to succeed in a competitive, time-sensitive industry.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and process a full pipeline of mortgage loan files.
• Evaluate loan files for regulatory compliance and completeness.
• Accurately review and enter pertinent loan data into operational systems.
• Order supplementary vendor products, such as title reports and property appraisals.
• Obtain required underwriting conditions from loan officers and/or loan applicants.
• Use FHA Connection to update loan data as needed.
• Communicate pipeline and file status to retail sales channels and management.
• Work with operational departments to establish productive and efficient workflows.
• Complete required checklists and worksheets.
