About The Position

The Mortgage Loan Disbursement Specialist supports a smooth mortgage experience by reviewing closing documents, preparing loans for servicing, completing disbursement activities, and ensuring post-closing requirements are met accurately and on time. This detail-oriented position collaborates with title companies, members, and mortgage staff to maintain complete, compliant, and well-organized loan files.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer and application skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities
Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
Ability to be registered under the SAFE Act required
Ability to be bonded

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
Financial services experience
Retail mortgage lending experience
Mortgage servicing software experience

Responsibilities

Review and maintain mortgage closing packages.
Prepare, transfer, and verify loan data between origination and servicing systems.
Complete loan funding, escrow setup, PMI activation, and related transactions.
Resolve post-closing, underwriting, documentation, and quality control items.
Process servicing updates, construction draws, payment setup, and loan conversions.
Collaborate with title companies, members, and mortgage staff to resolve issues efficiently.
