About The Position

Mortgage companies and banks are required by law to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. As a Property Inspector, you will visit physical properties to take specific photos and determine if the property is occupied or vacant. You will then report the general condition of the property using a mobile app. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in gig economy jobs such as Uber Drivers, Lyft, Door Dash, Uber Eats, or Pizza delivery, who are looking for flexible work. You will determine if a property is occupied or vacant, rate the property's condition as Good, Fair, or Poor, take photos using your smartphone, and complete a report via a downloadable app, answering multiple-choice questions about the property's condition.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
  • Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
  • Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
  • Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.

  • Good gas mileage for transportation is a plus.
