About The Position
This role involves conducting drive-by occupancy inspections for mortgage companies and banks. The primary responsibility is to visit mortgaged properties, determine if they are occupied or vacant, assess their general condition (rating them as Good, Fair, or Poor), and document these findings through photos and a mobile app. This is a 1099 contractor position, ideal for individuals with flexible schedules such as Uber drivers, Lyft drivers, or delivery personnel.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner or easy access to both.
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
- Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
- Rate the property condition as Good, Fair, or Poor.
- Take photos of the property using a smartphone.
- Fill out a form on a smartphone using a downloadable app.
- Answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.
