About The Position
TEKsystems is seeking a customer-focused professional to join its Mortgage Servicing team. The representative assists customers with questions about mortgage payments, escrow accounts, homeowners insurance, and other mortgage servicing needs. The position involves working in a fast-paced, phone-based environment and serving borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions. This is a contract-to-hire role based in Port Orange, Florida, with a hybrid work arrangement. The listed pay range is $17.00–$18.50 per hour. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent customer service experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort handling customer concerns by phone throughout the workday.
- Comfort using a Windows PC and navigating multiple applications.
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
- Reliable transportation for required on-site work.
- Reliable internet connection for hybrid work.
Nice To Haves
- Call center experience is preferred.
- Recent front desk or administrative experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 45–60 inbound customer calls per day.
- Assist borrowers, insurance agents, and financial institutions with mortgage servicing inquiries.
- Answer questions about mortgage payments, escrow accounts, homeowners insurance, and related servicing matters.
- Research customer concerns using multiple systems and accurately document each interaction.
- Provide professional, timely, and accurate customer service.
- Resolve customer concerns using problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Navigate multiple computer applications while communicating with customers.
- Follow established quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
- Provide a positive customer experience through clear, professional, and empathetic communication.
