About The Position
This role is responsible for following up with the title companies on any missing information and collecting the information to clear the condition to get the loan pushed through. There will be email communication and actually calling the title companies. The Mortgage Closer will be supporting various Channels. The individual acts as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be limited within a specific function/channel or across functions/channels.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of loan Closing, titles or escrow experience
- Experience from credit unions, mortgage lenders
- Ability to identify documents
- Ability to identify what a large deposit is
- Knowledge of Fannie and Freddie Mae Guidelines
- Experience processing conventional loans (home loans, a variety of loans)
- 1-2 years of processing assistant experience
- Local to Plano area
