About The Position
Perch is seeking an experienced and proven top-performing Mortgage Associate/Broker to join their fully remote team. This role offers a competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential, aiming to help professionals grow their income by 50-100%. The position is designed to automate 70% of the workflow, eliminate underwriting, and provide dedicated support, allowing brokers to focus on building relationships and closing deals. Perch is an award-winning mortgage brokerage that helps Canadians make data-driven decisions regarding their mortgages and home equity. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience as a licensed Mortgage Associate/Broker or as a Mortgage Advisor at a bank or credit union.
- Proven top performer with the ability to originate at least $10M in mortgages in the last 12 months.
- Demonstrated ability to self-generate most or all of your leads.
- Must be licensed as a Mortgage Associate/Broker or Mortgage Advisor.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mortgage application guidance and client pipeline nurturing.
- Familiarity with Equifax soft credit checks.
- Understanding of compliance and FINTRAC reporting.
Responsibilities
- Originate at least $10M in mortgages in the last 12 months.
- Self-generate most or all of your leads.
- Focus on building relationships and closing deals.
- Utilize technology to automate workflow and streamline processes.
- Handle client intake, document gathering, and appraisal bookings (with support).
- Keep referral partners informed with automatic status updates.
- Participate in ongoing training and coaching.
