About The Position
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring experienced Pet Care Professionals for morning pet sitting and dog walking in Warwick, RI. The ideal candidate has prior professional animal care experience, is reliable, passionate about pets, and comfortable with various animals. They must have reliable transportation, a smartphone, work well independently, and possess good communication and customer service skills. This role is for someone who loves to learn, wants to be part of something bigger, and make a difference daily. We are seeking candidates looking for a long-term, part-time position.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Prior professional animal care experience
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Daily access to email and the internet
- Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling, communication and visit documentation
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent attention to detail, communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors walking dogs year round in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Professional animal care experience means you have cared for animals in a professional, volunteer or educational setting.

Nice To Haves
- Additional Weekday/Weekend availability is a plus and may provide opportunities for more hours.
- Vet techs, dog trainers, pre-vet students, dog groomers, kennel workers, doggie daycare workers, animal shelter volunteers / animal rescue workers and other animal care techs are all encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Visits include dog walking, exercising dogs, letting out for bathroom breaks, pet sitting, feeding, administering medications (when applicable), cat care/small animal care, litter box cleaning and providing love & attention and exceptional care while clients are away from home or pre-occupied with work.
- Frequent travel between clients homes throughout your assigned service areas to care for their companions while they are at work or on vacation.
- Following detailed care instructions provided by the client and within our client management system.
- Leave a note for clients after each visit so they know how the visits went.
