About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a dependable, experienced, and flexible Morning Opener to help prepare the center for a successful day. The role supports children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old by opening classrooms, welcoming children and families, and providing nurturing, engaging care. The Morning Opener may support multiple classrooms and age groups based on staffing needs, enrollment, and classroom ratios. Requirements

• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center or early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of the developmental needs of children from infancy through preschool.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work confidently with different age groups.
• Dependable, punctual, flexible, and able to work an early morning schedule.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to meet state childcare employment, background check, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare classrooms each morning so they are clean, safe, organized, and ready for children.
• Provide hands-on support in classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Transition between classrooms and age groups based on staffing needs, enrollment, and classroom ratios.
• Greet children and families warmly and support a positive drop-off experience.
• Maintain active supervision and follow safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with morning routines, diapering, feeding, and age-appropriate activities as needed.
• Maintain compliance with state childcare licensing requirements and center policies.
• Communicate effectively with center leadership and teaching teams.
