About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age classroom for children ages 1–2 in a Montessori environment designed to support a formative stage of development. The Guide prepares a calm, beautiful, and orderly classroom that encourages exploration and independence. Through observation, individualized lessons, and respectful guidance, the Guide supports each child’s language, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence. The role also involves fostering warm relationships with children and families and working with colleagues to create a respectful, joyful classroom community.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in a group care or early learning setting.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
• Required ECE or Child Development credits.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through the Prepared Montessorian Institute.
• Previously earned Montessori diploma.
