About The Position

The Monitor Tech supports patient monitoring and critical care operations at Cullman Regional Medical Center. The role includes inventorying equipment at the end of every shift, ensuring monitors are assigned to the correct patients and documented accurately, admitting critical care patients in the CCU logbook, and completing documentation and medical-record posting promptly. The Monitor Tech is expected to demonstrate and encourage teamwork, contribute to exceptional patient and guest experiences, and uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory equipment at the end of every shift.
