About The Position

This position includes insulating steel cores; by ensuring roundness/rectangle mold through inspection of inner dimension, outer dimension, and height requirements, cutting strips to appropriate heights, and attaching strips to core.

Requirements

• Ability to perform work for a minimum of ten hours and be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic.
• Ability to walk, hear, see, and have full use of both hands.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
• Able to have organizational skills, regarding the setup of different layouts of parts
• Able to read, use and understand measuring devices.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Able to communicate issues when they arise to ensure a timely solution.

Responsibilities

• Follow Company safety and break policies, work in a safe manner, follow directions, and wear company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Immediately report any unsafe activity or accident to area Supervisor.
• Learn and understand standard operation of molding equipment including but not limited to mold prep, pouring and casting.
• Load material and Remove parts from board mounts and proper hoist placement in a safe manner.
• Work in an efficient manner maintaining part shift through-put quantity requirements.
• Ask questions when unsure of work safety and through-put quantity requirements.
• Keep area clean, follow good housekeeping practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
