About The Position

The Molding Technician role involves performing routine manufacturing tasks such as fabrication and testing, with a focus on learning and development under close supervision. This position requires a basic understanding of manufacturing procedures, material handling, and auxiliary equipment. The technician will be trained in mold setup, familiarized with various molding processes, and learn quality inspection techniques. A key aspect of this role is the commitment to learning and contributing to product quality and customer satisfaction within the Freudenberg Group.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures.
• Basic knowledge of material handling and auxiliary equipment (e.g., dryers, conveyors, chillers).
• Familiarity with different molding processes (e.g., injection, compression, blow, thermoforming).
• Basic understanding of part measurement tools and quality inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and part drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry Level and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or associate's degree preferred.
