Molding Maintenance Technician - Nights
About The Position
This role is responsible for performing tasks to maintain efficient production. The technician will perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, assist employees in solving maintenance problems, and keep the shop area and molding machines neat and orderly. The position requires a willingness to receive training to progress in the maintenance field, the ability to obtain parts in emergencies, and the capacity to take control of a machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine. All other duties as assigned will also be part of the role.
Requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Have mechanical aptitude.
- Accept responsibility for work performed.
- Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
- Able to participate in an apprenticeship program.
- Able to read blue prints and schematics.
- Good reading comprehension and math skills.
- Must provide own tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties with minimum supervision.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
- Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
- Keep shop area and molding machines neat and orderly.
- Willingness to get training to progress in maintenance field.
- Obtain parts in times of emergency.
- Take control of machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
