About The Position
Goldshield, a leader in the fiberglass industry since 1982, is seeking a Mold Shop Associate for its facility in Decatur, Indiana. As part of Terex Corporation, a global manufacturer of specialized vehicles and equipment, Goldshield produces fiberglass parts for various industries including RVs, school buses, emergency vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and specifications of manufactured fiberglass parts.
Requirements
- Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
- Ability to safely use cut/grind tools and follow station requirements.
- Ability to maintain attendance expectations and support production standards.
- Successful completion of the drug and background screening.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year experience in mold shop, fiberglass, cutting, grinding, manufacturing, or production.
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Cutting and grinding parts to meet customer quality and specification standards.
- Working at assigned mold shop stations while meeting acceptable quality standards.
- Using dust control practices to help maintain a safer and cleaner work environment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Verifying work that affects the quality of the finished product.
