About The Position

This position is responsible for finishing molds and simple tooling for glass production with good quality and in a timely manner. The role also involves changing simple tooling on the production line and maintaining daily 5S work in the workshop. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
• Secondary school or above
• Regularly required to stand for long periods.
• Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
• Visual acuity including: NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
• Visual acuity including: FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
• Visual acuity including: DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are.
• Visual acuity including: COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
• Visual acuity including: FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
• Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
• Be acquainted with the flow of glass production
• Be acquainted with the rules and regulations of the Company
• Be acquainted with relevant product standards
• Be the master of professional skills of mold making for laminated glass
• Understand the requirements of product drawings
• Be the master of the standard of acceptance for the molds of laminated glass
• Abilities of communication and coordination
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Those with production experience are preferred
