About The Position

Lakeside Manufacturing is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to weld and assemble stainless steel carts, subassemblies, tables, and other products according to procedures, specifications, and customer requirements. The role includes welding, finishing, final assembly, documentation, and support for assembly operations in other areas as needed. The position works a first-shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with additional Friday hours available as needed. The work environment is team-oriented and safety-focused.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1–3 years of related experience.
Ability to operate pneumatic and power tools, welding equipment, polishers, buffers, and lift equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to successfully pass forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding of carts, subassemblies, and tables according to procedures and specifications.
Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings to weld and assemble products.
Perform grinding, buffing, and polishing operations to bring products into specification.
Complete final assembly of products and subassemblies according to procedures and specifications.
Complete and maintain required paperwork, records, and documents, and print labels.
Follow safety and work rules and regulations.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Assist with assembly operations in other areas as needed.
