About The Position
TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the Mold Maintenance Technician position in our Bowling Green, Ohio Molding Division. This role is responsible for maintaining tools with preventative maintenance and repair, and providing support to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Journeyman level machinist or mold technician equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess excellent time management skills.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Injection Molding is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and major mold maintenance.
- Confirm and maintain mold storage requirements.
- Complete preventative maintenance on molds and document the process.
- Work with metal and non-metals.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and symbols.
- Understand basic mechanics, lubricants, bearings, pumps, and power transmission equipment.
