About The Position

Metronet is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join their Business Sales team. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and will focus on expanding Metronet's footprint by providing tailored solutions to new customers. The ideal candidate thrives on challenge, enjoys closing deals, and is eager for career growth within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license required; travel may be required based on territory.
  • Candidate must be able to be in-market M-F.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory or vertical.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution and onboarding.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools for sales approach, opportunity prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and deal progression in Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with other departments for smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and activity benchmarks.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Sales Manager to review performance and align on goals.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to influence strategy and team success.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
