About The Position

Apple’s New Product Operations team supports the development and launch of new products. The NPI OPM Intern will support NPI development, factory and equipment bring-up, program management, core process, quality teams, and other functional organizations. The intern will help drive successful product launches toward schedule, quality, equipment availability, and customer-experience goals. The role suits a driven, organized, detail-oriented facilitator with an interest in program or project management who can communicate across levels, work in ambiguous conditions, facilitate actions, and influence through relationships. The internship is full-time for at least six months, and may require travel to manufacturing sites as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• Available for a full-time internship of at least six months.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data tools such as Excel.
• Prior internship or project experience in New Product Introduction, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, engineering, or project management.
• Ability to succeed in a matrixed environment and work in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build relationships, communicate clearly and consistently, take data-driven action, and stay enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented while managing several work streams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally without authority.
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

• MBA.
• Knowledge of data analysis, Tableau, Python, or machine learning.
