Modular Product Developer

Faith Technologies•El Paso, TX

About The Position

The Modular Product Developer works within the Product Development organization to execute development activities for ETO Modular Product Platforms under the direction of Product Architects. The role turns conceptual requirements, sketches, technical direction, and evolving design decisions into accurate virtual prototypes, models, drawings, submittals, and technical documentation. Its primary focus is early concept development using Revit and other digital design tools to visualize, evaluate, and refine product solutions before design intent is established. The role requires enough technical understanding of the complete product to accurately represent dimensions, clearances, interfaces, equipment arrangements, constructability, manufacturability, and site integration in concept-level models and documentation. As concepts mature, the developer supports master Revit models, reusable BIM and product configuration content, Product Requirements Document supporting information, Component Definition Documents, specifications, scope documents and matrices, Illustrated Basis of Design documents, client and other submittals, and early Long Lead Equipment Bills of Material. The role collaborates with Product Architects and a broad range of engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, operations, vendor, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Success requires strong technical modeling ability, product thinking, creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and awareness of how concept decisions affect downstream engineering, procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, construction integration, and product lifecycle performance. The position requires 10–50% travel. The usual schedule falls between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, but may vary and include nights, weekends, or holidays. Overtime may be required, and schedule flexibility is necessary. The position is with Faith Technologies, Inc. (FTI); employment is contingent on passing a background and drug test.
