About The Position

The Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer joins The Aerospace Corporation’s Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department within the Enterprise Effects Division. The role provides technical capabilities to support customer modeling, simulation, and analysis of space-, air-, and ground-based systems of systems, investigating architecture and concept of operations performance in nominal and contested environments. Focus areas may include agent-based modeling, red-versus-blue simulations, military utility and capability drawdown, killchain effectiveness, enterprise architecture resiliency, and command and control evaluation. The engineer serves as a technical authority in areas of expertise, leads and contributes to analysis projects, and applies expertise to understanding, modeling, and analyzing integrated missions at the enterprise level. The role uses and helps develop in-house and commercial or government-off-the-shelf engineering analysis tools and products, and prepares briefings and reports for program offices and customers. The position also mentors junior staff and occasionally requires travel. This is a 100% onsite role based in either El Segundo, California, or Chantilly, Virginia.
