About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Engineer to develop, integrate, execute, and analyze real-time simulations supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. The engineer will be a significant contributor to the technical effort of a small team. The position is located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, and work is performed at a customer site. The role supports the U.S. Army in laboratory and range venues, including all-digital and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) environments. The engineer will develop real-time simulations, integrate tactical and simulation software, and design, implement, test, and maintain simulation models in C++ and FORTRAN. The position also involves travel to support integration, operation, and analysis of real-time simulation models in flight-test environments, and developing MATLAB and Python tools for working with simulation inputs and outputs. Torch Technologies is a 100% employee-owned company and a Certified Great Place To Work. It provides research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War.
