Torch Technologies is seeking a mid-level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Developer and Integrator to develop, integrate, execute, and analyze simulations supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. The position is a significant technical contributor on a small team and is located at the customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with 0–10% travel. The position is not contingent upon a contract award, and relocation assistance is not available. The role involves developing, integrating, executing, and analyzing M&S products for the U.S. Army. The developer designs simulations using tactical and simulation communication protocols; integrates tactical software and existing fire control, missile, and command-and-control code into real-time simulations and larger system-of-systems integrations; and develops, tests, and maintains real-time simulation models in C++. The developer also creates MATLAB and Python tools to process and analyze simulation inputs and outputs, and supports integration, execution, debugging, and analysis at OEM facilities, government laboratories, and test ranges. Torch Technologies describes itself as a 100% employee-owned, Certified Great Place To Work and Certified Evergreen ESOP, providing research, development, and engineering services to the Federal Government and Department of War. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a comprehensive background check. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.
