About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a mid-level Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Developer and Integrator to develop, integrate, execute, and analyze simulations supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the technical effort of a small team. The position is located at the customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, and includes 0–10% travel. The role involves designing and developing simulations using tactical and simulation communication protocols; integrating simulation and tactical software changes into real-time simulations; and integrating existing fire control, missile, and command-and-control codebases into real-time simulations and larger system-of-systems integrations. The developer will track, debug, and resolve bugs, issues, requirements, updates, and other changes; design, implement, test, and maintain real-time software simulation models in C++; and develop MATLAB and Python tools to process and analyze simulation inputs and outputs. The candidate will also support integration, execution, debugging, and analysis at OEM facilities, government laboratories, and test ranges. Torch Technologies describes itself as a 100% employee-owned company, a Certified Great Place To Work, and a Certified Evergreen ESOP. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a comprehensive background check. The position is not contingent upon a contract award; relocation assistance is not available.
