About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Junior Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Software Developer to develop, integrate, execute, and analyze real-time simulations supporting Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems. The position is located at a customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, and supports lab and range venues, including all-digital and Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) environments. The developer will design and develop simulations using tactical and simulation communication protocols; integrate existing fire control, missile, and command-and-control code bases into real-time simulations and larger system-of-systems integrations; and design, implement, test, and maintain real-time simulation software models. The role also includes developing MATLAB and Python tools to process and analyze simulation inputs and outputs, as well as supporting integration, execution, debugging, and analysis at OEM facilities, government labs, and test ranges. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel of 0–10% is required. Relocation assistance is not available, and the position is not contingent upon a contract award.
