About The Position

Under the direction and supervision of the RN or Therapist, assists in providing nursing and therapy care to patients. Works cooperatively with other team members to maintain state standards of care in the clinical setting. Frequent contact with patients supports the nursing and therapy staff in utilizing the nursing and therapy process.

Requirements

• Completion of a Nurse Aide Training program or equivalent education in non-licensed nursing assistant duties, a Physical Therapy tech program or similar program, or a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing nursing and therapy care to patients under the direction and supervision of the RN or Therapist.
• Work cooperatively with other team members to maintain state standards of care in the clinical setting.
• Support nursing and therapy staff in utilizing the nursing and therapy process through frequent patient contact.
